 Biographies

JONATHAN BERGER draws on more than thirty years of experience in the real estate business and has had exposure to every phase of the business including acquisition, development, asset repositioning, property management, leasing and disposition.

Jonathan, a life-long resident of Chicago, is co-founder of The Equitable Funds LLC, Owner and Managing Director of Berger Asset Management LLC, a property management company, and the President of the Berger Company, Inc,, an asset management company. Jonathan graduated from The Latin School of Chicago (where he is currently a member of the Board of Trustees) and Hampshire College.

JOSH SILVERGLADE has been involved in the acquisition, management, development and financing of industrial, office, commercial and residential real estate for over twenty-five years. He is currently Managing Director of The Equitable Funds LLC and is the Managing Member of many affiliated limited liability companies with diverse interests in real estate. Josh is a founder of the company and has been involved in all aspects of the company since its inception in 1999.

From 1992 to 1996, Josh was an attorney at the law firm of Altheimer & Gray in Chicago where his practice focused on environmental law and real estate transactional work. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with high distinction and honors, from the University of Michigan in 1989 and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1992, where he was a member of the University of Illinois Law Review.
